Dysart et al’s Mayor says the Kawartha Lakes, Haliburton Housing Corporation will start conduction of the townhome style units next spring.
Fearrey says better late than never.
The townhomes will be built alongside the Whispering Pines development off County Road 21.
Housing Corporation C.E.O. Hope Lee said last month she doesn’t have specific data for the county but that in Haliburton and Kawartha Lakes, the waiting list is anywhere between three-to-five years.
