If you’re a business owner, you may want to consider advertising on hiking trails. The Highlands East Business and Economic Committee submitted the request to add commercial signage to trails at last week’s council meeting.
Deputy-Reeve Suzanne Partridge said she couldn’t support it at this time without restrictions around locations and size. Reeve Dave Barton expressed his concern with too many signs littering the trails.
Council agreed to postpone the decision until more details come forward.
