Yesterday the Cottage Country Building Supplies/ Ridgewood Ford Highland Storm Atom A’ travelled to Fenlon Falls to face the Sturgeon Lake Thunder. Despite a great effort The Atom A’s lost 4-1 with the only Storm goal scored by  Addison Carr, assisted by Brechin Johnston and Cheyenne Degeer. In other action The Highland Storm Pepper Mill Steak and Pasta House Dollos Foodland Bantam A’s travelled up to Sundridge Saturday for a tilt against the Almaguin Ice Devils. Storm goalie Ben Landry was outstanding and goals by Connor Sobrey and Jax Gill resulted in a 2 all tie with the Devils. Then Sunday evening the Bantam A’s  were in Beaverton to faceoff against the  Brock Wild and came home with a convincing 7-1 victory. On Saturday  the Tom Prentice and Sons Trucking Tykes traveled to the Lindsay  to face the Muskies. The back and forth battle resulted in a 4-4 tie. Vanek Logan scored an unassisted goal and Evan Perrott’s hard work and determination earned him a hat trick. On Sunday the Tykes hosted the South Muskoka Bears on at the S.G. Nesbitt Arena and dominated with a 10-0 win Carter Braun notched the shut out.
