If you have fines for overdue items at the county libraries, you can have them waived.
The Haliburton County Library says for this month, if you bring a donation for any of the four food banks in the county, your late fees will be forgiven.
The library is looking for donations of non-perishable food items and cash.
You can drop your donation off at any of the eight library branches in the county.
