The Haliburton Highlands detachment says the extra snow that fell the last couple of days can make for difficult driving conditions. Community Safety Officer Dianna Dauphinee says one suggestion she has is if you have to go somewhere, leave earlier than you normally would. //www.myhaliburtonnow.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/DD-1.mp3 Dauphinee also reminds drivers that children enjoy playing on snowbanks. She says that creates challenging conditions for kids and motorists. //www.myhaliburtonnow.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/DD_2.mp3 Dauphinee also strongly recommends checking road conditions before you get in your vehicle.
