O.P.P. investigating two break-and-enters in Minden Hills

The Haliburton Highlands O.P.P. is looking into two break-and-enters in Minden Hills.

So far, police learned that sometime between December 12^th at 8:00 p.m. and December 13^th at 8:10 a.m. there was a break-in at the Minden United Church

Some cash and a television were taken from the church.

The O.P.P. is also investigating another incident at the S.G. Nesbitt Memorial Arena.

According to the police, there was a break-in sometime overnight on January 9^th.

Cash was taken and there was significant damage inside the building.

The Haliburton Highlands detachment didn’t say how many suspects were involved in either case.

The amount of cash taken in each incident is also unknown.

The O.P.P. is asking for the public’s assistance.
