Parking meters in Dysart et al back in service

If you plan to park in Dysart et al where there is a meter, you now have to pay.

Dysart Bylaw Enforcement Officer Kristin Boylan says the meters were put back into service yesterday.

Boylan reminds drivers that keeping some spare change on you to pay the meter can save you a $10 fine.

Once you pay the meter, you need to display the validation ticket in your windshield.

Boylan also wants to remind people that no overnight street parking is allowed on secondary roads in the municipality.

She says that could result in a $30 fine, or your vehicle being towed if it interferes with snow removal.
