Local MP Barry Devolin has announced $245,952 will go toward New Horizons for Seniors Funding. The application submitted by the Municipality of Dysart and the Haliburton Highlands Museum was not among the recipients.
Twenty five thousand dollars was awarded to the 2015 Ontario 55 plus Winter Games which will be held in Haliburton County.
