The Cottage Country Building Supplies/Ridgewood Ford Highland Storm Atom A’s hosted the Shelburne Wolves for game two of round two of the playoffs on Sunday at the SG Nesbit arena.It was a great team effort with every Storm player getting a point in a dominant 10-3 win. The Atom A’s now gave a 2 games to none lead in the series with game 3 happening next Saturday in Shelbourne. Meanwhile The Highland Storm Pepper Mill Steak and Pasta House Dollos Foodland Bantam A ‘s began round two of the playoffs last Saturday travelling to Wasaga Beach to take on the Stars in a best of five quarterfinal series. The game was even thru the first 2 periods but the Bantams came out and scored seven unanswered goals in the third period for a solid 9-2 win. Game 2 of this series is on Saturday in Wasaga with the Storm returning home for  game 3  on Sunday in Haliburton at 5 pm. Elsewhere the Highlander Storm Midgets  began the second round, Sunday in Minden, against the Shelburne Wolves and came away with a 6-3 win.  Josh Boice and Owen Smith both scored twice with singles from Nolan Flood and Lucas Hadieka
