A proposal for commercial signage on Highlands East trails will have to wait until next year. After the proposal came forward at last month’s meeting, councilors directed the Trails Committee to develop a more detailed outline of the project.

Councilor Joan Barton updated council on decisions from the committee who agreed to only have signs at trail head points. The proposal needs input form the Economic Development and Business Committee, which isn’t meet again until August. Councilor Cecil Ryall who chairs the committee says the project will be discussed, but will have to wait to be implemented until next year.
