Keeping the Family Day weekend safe means keeping away from ice forming near dams. Ontario Power Generation is reminding you that currents and changing water conditions make the ice around dams and hydroelectric stations a lot thinner than anywhere else. OPG President of Renewable Generation Mike Martelli says the weekend is a great time for winter activity but advises to always keep clear of the OPG sites.
