Minden Hills residents will have five opportunities to dispose of household hazardous waste

Minden Hills will be holding less of its hazardous household days on long weekends.

There will be days in: May, June, August, September and October for people to get rid of their hazardous materials, such as empty paint cans, batteries and certain light bulbs for example.

Mayor Brent Devolin says the waste days would usually be on long weekends, and that wasn’t good for year-round residents who usually go out of town on those weekends.
