A total of six doorways need to be replaced at the S.G. Nesbitt Arena.
The entrance leading to the arena was damaged during a break and enter on January 12th.
Minden Hills Mayor Brent Devolin says insurance won’t be helpful in this situation.
Devolin adds the township planned to replace the other five doors this year due to safety concerns.
Council’s plan is to take $35,000 from reserves to fix the lobby doors but a portion of that will now go towards replacing the other five doors.
