Thanks to money from the province, Highlands East will be buying 60 tables.
The tables will be bought with the $4,392 the municipality received from the Celebrate Ontario 2018 grant.
Highlands East applied for the money to support the Wilberforce Agricultural Fair coming up in August.
Wilberforce Agricultural Society Treasurer, Joanne Vanier, says replacing the aging plywood tables has been a long standing goal of the society.

Vanier adds the new tables are not only for the fair.
They can also be used by the curling club and other groups hosting events in the municipality.
