Haliburton, Kawartha Lakes, Brock M.P.P. Laurie Scott says she is 100 per cent behind Doug Ford.

Ford was elected the new leader of Ontario’s Progressive Conservative Party on the weekend.

Scott says after an intense six-week period to elect a new leader, the party supports Ford with one mission in mind.

Scott threw her support behind Christine Elliott, who lost her second bid to become party leader.

Scott says now that the party has a leader, the party’s next goal is campaigning for the June 7th provincial election.

The governing liberals have been in power since 2003.
