A township’s brand is more than just a logo or tagline. That’s according to the Lake of Bays township that says a rebranding project for 2018 will rely on public input to create a brand that communicates the characteristics and values of the township. Organizers say this will also help guide Lake of Bays to successfully create an impression on locals and tourists and allow communities to unite and shape the future of the township together.
Beginning April 2018, public engagement sessions will be held where it’s said the township will consult with residents, business owners and community leader in identifying Lake of Bays’ core values and vision of the future. Organizers are saying this rebrand will drive investment, increased tourism, community development, and business activity while enhancing the connection and experience residents have with the township.

The Dwight Community Centre will be holding the Lake of Bays’ first public engagement session on April 18th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at 1014 Dwight Beach Road.
The next day will hold the second meeting at the Baysville Community Centre on April 19th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at 10 University Street.
