Minden Hills council has agreed to end waiving building permit fees for people affected by last year’s flood. Last year, council passed a resolution to waive the fees for flood victims. At last week’s council meeting, Chief Building Official Colin McKnight said they’ve looked into people affected and think most of the reconstruction has been done. Council agreed that if anyone else does still come forward, they would waive the fees.
