Ontario is making it easier for condo owners to install electric vehicle chargers.
Provincial officials are removing many restrictions imposed by condo companies and boards that have blocked condo owners from installing things like chargers in the past. There is also an incentive program that will cover up to $1,000 of the cost of buying and installing chargers at condos and apartments.
Provincial officials say there are nearly 20,000 electric vehicles on provincial roads and these new opportunities will help incentivize more people to move to electric.
