News April in Haliburton County sets snowfall record SHARE ON: Kenny Trenton, contributor, Monday, Apr. 30th, 2018 It took 133 years but cottage country has set a weather record. According to Environment Meteorologist Geoff Coulson the average snowfall in the region for April is just under 20 centimetres.
