Ontario’s ultimate tourist returns to the Haliburton Highlands after a successful first trip. Carly Freeman is the ambassador for the Ontario Highlands Tourism Organization and she says Haliburton County was one of the hidden gems. She says the people are what makes the trip and found everyone in Haliburton County very welcoming. Freeman says one of the biggest things she noticed about Haliburton County was the pride people took in the community.
She will start another tour on Wednesday August 13 called ‘Ride the Highlands‘ and will make her first stop right here for The Forest Festival.
