The Township of Minden Hills is holding a household hazardous waste day at the Scotch Line landfill site this Saturday. From 8:30am to 11:30am the landfill will be accepting rechargeable batteries, small household batteries, fluorescent bulbs, CFL bulbs, printer inkjets, toner cartridges, and empty aerosol cans – residents must present their landfill user identification card to the landfill attendant.
