The OPP has announced that they have found the man that had gone missing while swimming in Pigeon Lake.
The OPP Underwater Search and Recovery team found the body of 40-year-old Todd Simpson of Clarington at 5:45 pm last night. Emergency crews were called to the scene just after 6:00 pm Monday night after Simpson was reported missing.
Peterborough OPP and Kawartha OPP both helped in the search for the man. Simpson was swimming with friends when he helped a fellow swimmer who was struggling, the swimmer made it back to the houseboat only to realize Simpson had not.
