Parents in the county are still recovering after The Children’s Learning Centre announced they were closing earlier this year, only be saved by an organization who took over the day to day operations of the daycare. According to a report submitted to the ministry by the City of Kawartha Lakes, only 15% of infants, toddlers, and pre-schoolers in the area have access to daycare.
