Mizzy Lake Trail in Algonquin Park Closed Because of Bear Activity

Algonquin Park visitors are being warned to be cautious this month.

OPP Constable Shawn Peever says Mizzy Lake Trail in Algonquin Park was recently closed because of increased black bear activity. He says if you ever see a bear, it’s best to keep your distance.

Peever says there are steps you can take to avoid unwanted bear visits to your campsite as well.
