The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge Health Unit is aiming to help families with no doctor.
The vaccine clinics in Haliburton County happen every couple months, with the next one being September 12th, and is free to any family that does not have a family doctor. Bill Eekhoff of the health unit says that vaccines are important.
Eekhoff says vaccines protect your family from a variety of issues and that they are all safe. The health unit urges you to keep your vaccination records up to date, and Eekhoff says that families should book an appointment in advance.
Though the clinics are specifically for families without family doctors, the health unit encourages everyone to get vaccinated.
