Organizers of the annual ‘Hike Haliburton’ are urging to register quickly as some of the hikes are already full.
The series of hikes is going on in late September is a free event with a variety of hikes, ranging from easy to challenging. Of the 100 hikes offered, 17 of those have already filled up.
Aside from hiking the festival offers a fall equinox fire, several concerts, and a pork dinner. As well there will be “Haliburton Highlands Biggest Picnic ever”
The three-day event is Canada’s largest hiking festival and goes from September 20th to the 23rd. It is designed to show the varying landscapes that the Haliburton Highlands have to offer.
