News Election Signs Stolen in Dysart Election SHARE ON: Doug Crosse, staff Sunday, Aug. 12th, 2018 Candidate's Election Signs stolen in Dysart. It’s election time and that can mean theft or vandalism of candidate signs. Ward 2 Candidate David McKay said he found out Tuesday from his wife that signs put up near the landfill site had gone missing. Other candidate’s signs in the same area were untouched. It was not a question of improperly placed signs being confiscated, as they were put up along the municipal road allowance along Industrial Park Road. Another candidate, Mike Stinson, also lost a sign in the same area. Anyone caught tampering with election signs can be charged under the criminal code.
