Kawartha Lakes OPP laid five charges on a man after a traffic stop.
Officers stopped a vehicle on Highway 7 in Omemee for speeding in a 50 km/h zone. After an investigation OPP charged a 38-year-old man with speeding, driving without a valid licence plate, drinking and driving as a novice driver, driving with more than 80 mg of alcohol in the bloodstream, and possession of marijuana.
The man is due in a Lindsay courthouse September 13th.
