Minden Pride kicked off their week-long celebrations and awareness campaign with a flag raising ceremony.
The raising of the flag is just the beginningĀ of the celebrations of the LGBTQ community. Minden Pride features a film night, the chair’s reception, tea-dance, and street fest. Also on the schedule for the week is Loud and Proud a service at St. Pauls Anglican Church.
This is the third year that the celebrations have gone on in Minden, but members of Minden Pride were in Muskoka earlier in the year for their Pride celebrations.
