Parents Need to Update Profiles for School Bus Notifications

Parents hoping to get an email about their child’s school bus location need to do some homework.

The My Bus to School is an online service provided through the Trillium Lakeland District School Board that gives parents critical information on school bus routes.

The board is asking parents to access www.mybustoschool.ca website and verify and update their subscription information, bus route, and general notice requests.

The board is also reminding parents that if they received a letter in their child’s report card or final mail home at the end of the year, their child’s bus route may have changed.

During the school year, the service sends out an email to subscribers when a bus is expected to be more than 15 minutes late. The board warns that failure to update the account could result in missed emails.

When you log in the website will require your child’s 9-digit Ontario Education Number which can be found on their report card.
