The Dysart et al Fire Department gave their update to Dysart Council this morning.
In the report provided to the council, was the number of emergency response calls they responded to. According to the report, emergency services were dispatched to a total of 69 calls in July, which is 29 more than the calls for service in 2017.
The highest number of emergency calls was for medical assists at 24, and the second highest being fire complaints at 18. The fire ban proved effective as there were zero grass fires in the municipality, and only 4 structure fires total.
Calls for service in Dysart are up overall compared to last year, 2017 saw 180 calls for service after July, and 2018 saw 215.
