The Labour Day long weekend is here, and with it, the Annual General Meeting for the Kennisis Lake Cottage Owners Association.

The President of the KLCOA Deb Wratschko spoke with the My Haliburton Now newsroom and says that the AGM is open to members of the association and the agenda is set. The review of initiatives throughout the year and discussion for next year are both on the agenda. Also on the agenda is a roads update and a presentation on water quality testing. Wratschko says that they will also get an update from Karl Korpela on the septic re-inspection program.

The AGM starts at 9:00 AM  Saturday in the Haliburton Forrest Logging Museum.

Wratschko says that the AGM typically sees 140 attendees and that the Association has 600 plus members making it one of the more active lake associations in Ontario.
