Our local MP, Barry Devolin is working to strengthen ties with South Korea. Along with other parliamentary members, Devolin made the trip to South Korea earlier this week to talk about the Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement (CKFTA). It’s part of the government’s pro-trade plan to create jobs and opportunities for Canadians.
Along with Canada’s Global Market Action Plan, the CKFTA will also give Canadian businesses the chance to grow and build their success in Canada and abroad. The Agreement is scheduled for legislative review this fall.
