The Tourism Department of Haliburton County is taking proposals for the 2019 “Explore” publication.
“Explore #MyHaliburtonHighlands” is a publication that the Tourism Department will be sending across the country to tourism centres around Ontario and on shelves in Haliburton County.
Designs have to meet specifications including having gone through a full four colour process, it must be two-sided with the one side being a map and information on the other side. The “Explore” piece must be bigger than a rack card, has to have a map fold to it and be on 70 lb. gloss paper. The final specifications are that they must be in bundles of 25, and not more than 100 per carton.
The proposal also has to consider editorial and pictorial content, the cost of distribution and other anticipated costs. Each proposal has to come in at no more than $30,000 flat for the entire project.
To qualify, the proposals need to include an overview of your company’s profile, an overview of your team, three work samples, two work references and a timeline for the project. Any questions can be directed to Amanda Virtanen, the Director of Tourism by calling 705-286-1333 ext. 230
