The 25th running of the Minden Hills Terry Fox Run raised $17,701.
On Sunday, all over the country, people took part in the Terry Fox Run, an annual fundraising campaign for cancer research. Locally speaking, people ran, biked, and rolled their way to that total.
Local run organizer Diane Peacock was hoping they could raise $19,000 this year. That would have brought the 25-year total for the Minden Terry Fox Fun to $300,000.
Next year’s run is happening on Sunday the 15th.
