Anyone hoping to get another crack at the mayoral candidates will have their chance.
All of the mayoral and deputy mayoral candidates will be gathering in the main hall of the School of Art and Design for one last all-candidates meeting. Throughout the four-weeks of meetings, a number of common issues came up. Affordable housing, the septic re-inspection program, the growing senior population and more got some focus in the separate meetings.
The goal of the fifth meeting is to hear from the candidates on issues that affect the county and not just the individual municipalities.
Anyone looking to attend can come to the meeting and potentially ask questions of the candidates vying for the top two seats on council.
Lisa Schell of Minden Hills was acclaimed to the position of Deputy Mayor. As well Liz Danielson was acclaimed to Deputy Mayor and Carol Moffatt to Mayor.
The meeting starts at 7:00pm on October 11th.
