SIRCH’s Coat Drive Has Kicked Off

SIRCH Community Services is trying to keep people warm this winter with their annual coat drive.

SIRCH, the organization behind the cook it up and cook it up all fall, has launched their annual coat drive for those less fortunate. SIRCH says that anyone with coats can drop them off at several locations across the county. the Minden locations include the Anglican Church, the Foodland, Valu-Mart and the Early ON Centre. Any looking to donate coats can also go to Haliburton village locations, including SIRCH, Foodland, Todd’s Independent, and the Early ON centre in Haliburton.

If you are looking to donate a coat, SIRCH is asking that the coat be clean and gently used. SIRCH also says that you can donate any other warm winter wear for adults and children.

November 3rd, SIRCH will be doing giveaways from 10:00am to 3:00pm at the Anglican Church in Minden and SIRCH Central in Haliburton.

Everyone is welcome.
