The Highland Storm TimberMart and Haliburton Hockey Haven Sports Camp Novice Team was in Parry Sound on Sunday to play the Shamrocks. The Novices balanced attack resulted in a 3-1 victory with goals from Isaac Trotter, Matthew Scheffee , and Henry Neilson. In other action the Ridgewood Ford and Castle Cottage Country Building Supplies Atoms hosted the Highland Storm Matt Duchene Tournament in Haliburton over the weekend and after battling on Saturday found themselves in the semi finals on Sunday morning against the Lindsay Muskies. It took an overtime goal by Josh Scheffee his second of the game to get the Storm into the finals. Other goal scorers were by Mclean Rowden and Jace Mills. Meanwhile The Pepper Mill Steak and Pasta House and Dollo’s Foodland Bantam Team beat the Orono Leafs 6-3 on Friday. Dylan Keefer scored twice with singles from, Kyan Hall, Ryan Rupnow, Jackson Wilson, and Nick Phippen
