The Town of Algonquin Highlands has set a date for the new council to have their first meeting.
Although the current term is still a month away from finishing, Algonquin Highlands incoming council already has their first meeting scheduled. Members of the council are expected to have their inaugural meeting on December 6th at 9:00am. The following week will be the first regular meeting of the council, that meeting happens Thursday, December 13th at 9:00am.
When the new term starts, this council will be one of three municipalities in Ontario to be entirely represented by female councillors.
