Food and information are the focus of a meeting happening in Minden next week.
Thursday, December 13th, the Minden Hills Cultural Centre will be the location for an event being called Vegetable Tourist.
According to Haliburton County’s Tourism department, the event is going to be made up of a short talk centred around food tourism. Food tourism is the idea of people travelling to an area to try a specific food or restaurant.
After the short talk, organizers are planning on showing a 13 minute TED Talk also centred around food tourism.
The event closes with time for roundtable discussions about the contents of the day.
