The team at 93.5 Moose FM are gearing up for their annual radiothon for the food banks.
Starting Thursday at 6:00am, Moose FM is going to be campaigning to raise money for the Food Banks of Haliburton County.
The annual event is running for two days, ending at 6:oopm on Friday. According to Moose FM host Rick Lowes, people can come into the station and donate via cash or cheque. Or they can call 705-457-3897 to donate on the phone.
Lowes says that people who donate can get their name mentioned on the air, or remain anonymous if they would prefer.
Staff at Moose FM tell My Haliburton Now.com they are hoping to surpass last year’s total when they managed to raise just over $19,000 for the food banks.
