O.P.P. looking for thieves who took safe from a transfer station

Ontario’s police force is asking for the public’s help in tracking down a pair of thieves.

Peterborough County O.P.P. is investigating the theft of a safe from a transfer station in Trent Lakes. According to the police, Tuesday night, two thieves climbed through a window at the transfer station on Highway 36 and made off with a safe containing $300 in it.

The suspects are described as being in their late teens with a slender build. They were wearing hooded sweatshirts, gloves and balaclavas. The O.P.P. says the suspect vehicle is a light coloured van with aluminum rims.
