New Year’s Eve is just around the corner and there is lots to enjoy.
All across the Haliburton Highlands, people are making plans on what to do to ring in the new year and My Haliburton Now.com has made a list of the different events going on.
At the Haliburton Forest, people can get a guided after-hours tour of the Wolf Centre and watch the wolves get fed, followed by a snowshoe trek into the woods for a bonfire, and a howl.
Elsewhere in Dysart, people can go to Pinestone for dinner and dancing. In Minden Hills, locals and visitors alike can go to the Community Centre for skating, tobogganing and marshmallow roasting.
According to the Haliburton County Tourism Department, the other New Years event is a three-course meal at the Bonnie View Inn.
