A special weather statement has been issued for Haliburton, Minden and Southern Haliburton County.
Snow is going to spread into portions of Central and Eastern Ontario Monday evening, with variable amounts of potential accumulation depending on the location.
Total snowfall could reach five to 10 cm.
All locations have the potential for freezing rain as well.
