Haliburton County’s office staff are thanking everyone that got involved in their charitable efforts this holiday.
Through the month of December, staff members with the county raised $421.00 for local charities. According to the Haliburton County Twitter page, the money was raised through a number of initiatives like bake sales, silent auctions and more.
Throughout the holiday season, there was a number of charitable events on the go including SIRCH’s Gifts from the Heart campaign, the Moose FM Radiothon for the food banks of Haliburton County and toy and food drives at the Minden Hills Fire Hall.
