The council of Algonquin Highlands wants the public to advise them through various committees.

Algonquin Highlands Township announced this week that it is looking for members of the public to join one of three advisory committees. According to the town, two of the committees are local, the first being the Stanhope Municipal Airport Committee and the second being the Environment and Stewardship Committee.

The third committee taking volunteers is the Haliburton County Joint Compliance Audit Committee.

If you are interested in applying to any of these committees can send their notice of interest to Matt Gower the Municipal Clerk. The deadline to apply is 4:30pm March 1st.
