A renowned renovation expert is looking for properties to fix up in cottage country.

Haliburton County’s Tourism Department took to social media to announced that the tv star Scott McGillivray was seeking properties to renovate in Ontario’s cottage country. According to the Tourism Department’s Twitter feed, McGillivray “would like to help turn your run-down property into a stunning, money-making, vacation destination”

In the same tweet was the eligibility for the casting of sorts. For your property to be eligible, it needs to be a cottage, chalet, farmhouse, boathouse, or historic property. Another requirement to make it onto the show is providing a minimum of $50,000 towards the renovations. The last requirement to be cast in the show is to be available for five to six days over the eight to 10 weeks of filming.
