Minden residents are likely to see less sand on the roads as they travel around.
The Town says that starting today they are going to be conducting street sweeping operations across the municipal roads.
Within the village of Minden Hills, municipal staff expect that operations should only take two weeks, depending on the weather. Throughout the rest of the road networks though, staff say those operations should go until July 1st. Again weather depending.
While the sweeping is going on, Minden Hills staff are asking drivers for patience, and ask that anyone that comes across a work zone slow down and move over.
