The new brand direction for tourism in Ontario’s Highlands is finally getting a warm welcome. OHTO Executive Director, Nicole Whiting previously said they needed more of their partners on board with the experience based tourism. After the most recent conference held in Haliburton County, Whiting said they’re getting behind the new approach. A tourism video showed how giving visitors a one of a kind experience and connection with them on an emotional level will leave a lasting impression. The new approach promotes slowing down and disconnecting by coming to The Highlands.
