PARRY SOUND, ON- Yet another driver has been charged for stunt driving by the Parry Sound police. According to a news release from the detachment, an officer observed a southbound vehicle driving more than 150 kilometres per hour on Highway 400 in Carling Township shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. The driver, was Vadim Fadeev, a 46-year-old from Aurora. He was charged with Race a motor vehicle – excessive speed, contrary to section 172(1) of the Highway Traffic Act (HTA), and became the 25th driver of the year to face charges for stunt driving laid by the West Parry Sound OPP. He is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound on August 27, 2019. His drivers’ licence was suspended for seven days, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
